That was an awesome talk. I’ve never heard Cornel West speak, he’s a great speaker. They both said some really important stuff. I really liked Butler’s questioning about using history as an allowance to get away with doing others what has been done to you (28:15-29:20). Also it’s great that they pointed out that even the most intelligent and wise have have their blind spots – this reality should serve to keep us all humble and open-minded.
